Overview
For enhanced security, BobPlus Africa requires all clients to provide an IP whitelist. Only API requests originating from approved IP addresses will be accepted. This helps prevent unauthorized access and protects your integration.
- Purpose: Restrict API access to trusted sources only.
- Target Audience: All developers and businesses integrating with BobPlus Africa APIs.
Quickstart: How to Set Up IP Whitelisting
- Identify the public IP addresses of your production and test servers.
- Contact our technical team at support@bobplus.africa with your list of IPs.
- Wait for confirmation that your IPs have been whitelisted.
- Once approved, only requests from these IPs will be allowed. All others will be rejected.
Note: Without an approved IP whitelist, all API requests will be rejected.
Security Best Practices
- Keep your list of whitelisted IPs up to date. Remove any unused or deprecated IPs promptly.
- Notify our support team immediately if your infrastructure changes.
- Combine IP whitelisting with strong authentication for maximum security.
